My life was filled with countless medications, medical testing, and pain. I was surviving rather than thriving and after trying so many other treatments, adult mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) banking and therapy were my last option to try to improve my condition. I met another Celltex Therapeutics client, Sarah Hughes, at a Dysautonomia conference and she told me about her life-changing experience with Celltex. I was amazed at her 360 transformation, which saved her life. I spoke with other Celltex clients and after seeing their success, I became highly encouraged to try it out.
I went to see my doctor, who was supportive of me trying a new form of therapy, and that’s when I decided to try Celltex. I had my MSCs extracted from my adipose (fat) tissue in a quick procedure, and they were banked in Celltex’s state-of-the-art, FDA regulated laboratory.
I had my first MSC infusion in January 2017 at Hospital Galenia in Cancun, Mexico. Some people are nervous about traveling outside the U.S. for medical purposes, but the hospital that Celltex referred me to, Hospital Galenia, is amazing. At Hospital Galenia everyone is incredibly friendly and caring. The hospital is always in great condition, and even nicer than some American hospitals. They make me feel right at home, so I am incredibly happy that Hospital Galenia is the designated hospital for Celltex.
When I received my first round of therapy, I was able to read a book for hours the very next day, which was something I hadn’t been able to do in years due to migraines and brain fog. I had increased energy and only two months later, I was able to get through the day with only taking a few naps rather than ten a day. Five months later, I wasn’t using my wheelchair anymore whenever I went out.
I enrolled in esthetician school just seven months after my first infusion and was able to be present for the five days a week, six hours a day schedule. Over the past two years and after receiving two additional MSC infusions, my brain fog has
improved, my energy has been boosted incredibly, my overall pain reduced, syncope episodes became rare and my seizures did as well.
In January 2019, I began my first semester at Letourneau University to pursue a Psychology degree. Without Celltex, I wouldn’t have been able to even consider going off to college away from home or be able to complete rigorous courses.
My physicians are so happy to see how Celltex has improved my life, and I finally feel normal after seven years of being severely ill and in pain. I cannot express how amazing Celltex has been. Without Celltex, I would just be surviving instead of living, and for that I can’t thank them enough.
