Texas Congressman Joe Barton visits Celltex lab
Celltex proudly welcomed Congressman Joe Barton (R-Texas) to its offices in Houston, Texas. During his visit he met the Celltex staff and toured the laboratory. Congressman Barton also had the opportunity to observe how adult stem cells are processed at Celltex. From the moment the laboratory receives a client’s own adipose (fat) tissue, the adult stem cells are isolated, multiplied and stored at -300 degrees Fahrenheit for future use. Celltex maintains a master bank of an individual’s stem cells should he or she need them in three months or in 30 years. Congressman Barton observed the safety protocols and spoke to the Quality Control team to learn more about the safety testing that must take place each day to ensure the integrity of a client’s stem cells.
