Maxine Snapka Becomes First Celltex Client to Celebrate 100 Years

Posted on Jan 20th, 2023

Long-time Celltex client Maxine Snapka celebrated her 100th birthday this month, becoming the first centenarian working with Celltex to keep living life well regardless of age.

Maxine first came to Celltex in 2013, after hearing from her family physician about the potential wellness and regenerative benefits stem cell banking enables.

“Every time I receive the stem cells – it’s like a fountain of youth,” Maxine said during a 2021 Celltex webinar.

For almost ten years, Maxine has made frequent use of her stem cell bank to stay active despite her age – claiming that it helps her stay energetic enough to still engage with her favorite hobbies.

“You’re more alive, more alert,” she said. “I just recommend them to anyone I can.”

Inspired by her dedication to health and wellness, Celltex celebrated her achievement by awarding her the first-ever Celltex Centenarian Award.

“As a company dedicated to maintaining wellness through all stages of life, it seemed only fitting to treat this as an important milestone,” said Paul Newhouse, Assistant VP of Celltex Client Services. As Maxine’s client services coordinator, Newhouse has spent nearly a decade coordinating with Maxine on her wellness goals. “It’s Maxine’s achievement, of course, but we wanted to do something special to honor her proactive commitment to health and wellness.”

“Stories like Maxine’s are truly inspiring to everyone at Celltex,” said Celltex CEO David G. Eller. “We often hear how our health can benefit from small changes in our lifestyle, but I believe we are now entering the era where individuals are widely understanding how important regenerative medicine is to the equation.

“Like Maxine and others, we all want to live our lives to the fullest, so the ability to take care of our health on a cellular level provides a natural advantage that we had within us all along.”

As owner of a beloved Corpus Christi restaurant chain that has been operating for 75 years, Maxine has a large support system of friends and family around the local community. The Corpus Christi Caller Times even wrote an article that celebrates both the restaurant and Maxine’s monumental birthday. You can read about it here.
